My friend Jen's Baby shower cake. Chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream bottom. Bassinet is white cake and buttercream frosting. Whole cake covered in Satin Ice brand buttercream flavored fondant. I used an impression sheet for the basket look on the bassinet.
Penelope's preschool graduation cake. Each of the kids had a "crayon" on the cake with their name hand painted with amerimist food-grade airbrush color on it The "pencil on top was also hand painted same stuff different color. The apple stem is a baboo skewer that goes through both cakes to stabilize top layer and is covered in brown gumpaste. bow and ribbon surrounding top layer are gumpaste so is the "pencil" and "chalk"
